It’s been a busy couple months here between trying to safely visit family out of state and enjoy the last few weekends of warm weather and while I actually took care of a few vehicular issues in the last few weeks, both my cars were being neglected pretty badly in
basic hygiene!
The vette has spent most of the summer under an new outdoor car cover when not being driven which meant that last year’s weekly washes were a thing of the past, and the 330’s color barely shows dirt at all so I’ve really cut down on washing lately. But over the last few weeks I even started getting lazy about using the cover so the dark grey started collecting nightly grime quite badly .
Luckily, no major damage was done! Finally washed them both today. Car cover is back on for the vette and hopefully she’ll get a clay bar and full wax treatment soon before the snow falls and she hibernates until April. I also still need to address my targa l atches beginning to squeak again but that should be a pretty simple application of grease ( I hope).
Now if I could only muster the willingness to wash the wife’s Encore. Can’t seem to get as excited about that one for some reason ... maybe if GM had put an LS3 in it ;)

Plus the Encore has much more surface area to clean inside and out. Good work!

Love that color on the C6. What outdoor cover have you been using?

It’s a MaxTech cover if I recall correctly. It was about $150 and I’m mostly happy with it. It does leave a dust on the car sometimes but I can get it off quickly with a duster.
